    How can I apply for housing?

    We are not yet operational. Once our first Community Housing Center opens, applications will work as follows:

    • Applicants will be able to attend our Welcome Day once a week at any Community Housing Center
    • Online application forms will be available on our Contact page
    • A case manager will follow up within 72 hours of submission
    • In the meantime, reach out via the Contact page to express interest

    How can I volunteer or serve?

    Volunteer opportunities will open as our first Community Housing Center launches. Roles will include:

    • Mentorship and case-management support
    • Meal preparation and cafeteria service
    • Job-readiness coaching and résumé workshops
    • Chapel, worship, and pastoral care teams
    • Facility maintenance and grounds upkeep

    How can I donate or partner financially?

    • One-time and recurring gifts can be made at give.abbashouse.org
    • Churches, businesses, and foundations can become Founding Partners — see our Partner page
    • In-kind donations (clothing, hygiene supplies, food) are needed, but we are only able to accept digital gift cards sent to [email protected]

    Where will the first Community Housing Center be located?

    • The first Community Housing Center will open in the Phoenix metro area pending fundraising milestones.

    • Yes — Abba's House Communities Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry incorporated in Arizona.
    • Our EIN is 41-4644298.
    • All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
    • We are an independent ministry and are not affiliated with Abba's House Inc. in Hixson, Tennessee.

    What faith tradition does Abba's House Communities follow?

    • We are a Christian ministry rooted in the call of Psalm 82:3–4 to defend the poor and rescue the helpless.
    • Services and care are provided to all who qualify, regardless of spiritual background or belief.
    • Voluntary chapel, prayer, and discipleship will be offered — never required for services.

    Who is eligible for the 90-Day Transition Program?

    The 90-Day Transition Program will be open to adults who meet all of the following criteria once our Community Housing Centers open:

    • Currently unhoused or at imminent risk of homelessness
    • No active violent criminal history
    • Willing to participate in case management and structured programming
    • Committed to the full 90-day plan with regular check-ins
    • Drug-free upon entry — we will help candidates enter rehab prior to enrollment if needed
    • Consents to weekly drug testing and random searches of pods, belongings, and persons

    How much does the 90-Day Transition Program cost?

    • The 90-Day Transition Program will be completely free for accepted members.
    • Private pod, three daily meals, clothing, and case management are all included at no cost.
    • The program is funded by donors, partner churches, grants, and a portion of our Direct Entry members' dues.

    How much does Independent Membership cost?

    Independent Membership will be $750 per month and is designed for graduates of the 90-Day Transition Program who need ongoing affordable housing.

    • Includes a private pod, reduced-priced meals, and optional continued case management
    • Open to 90-Day Program graduates in good standing
    • Month-to-month — no long-term contract required
    • Subject to the same Community Covenants as all members

    What if I'm employed and priced out?

    Individuals who are employed or have a fixed income are welcome to apply for our Direct Entry program when our first Community Housing Center opens. For $750 a month, Direct Entry members will enjoy:

    • Bypassing the 90-Day program requirements
    • Month-to-month membership model with no long-term lease or commitment required
    • A private pod, access to gyms, laundry, recreation areas, office space, and all shared amenities
    • Full independence with no case management required, but optional
    • Access to a cafeteria with reduced-priced meals with no markup - Mercy Meal Plans will be available to those who qualify for meal credits
