    Program 02

    Independent Membership

$750/month — housing, meals, and support in one simple plan when our center opens.

    What's Included

    Private Pod

Continue in your private pod at a fraction of the cost of regular housing.

    Cafeteria Access

Access to a cafeteria with reduced-priced meals with no markup. Mercy Meal Plans will be available to those who qualify for meal credits.

    Healthcare Access

Connections to free or low-cost healthcare and mental health services through Abba's Care.

    Continued Case Management

Optional ongoing support to help you reach your next goal — saving, homeownership, or career advancement.

    Full Amenity Access

Gym, laundry, community recreation areas, and office/computer space.

    Community

Remain in a stable, encouraging environment while you save and build toward full independence.

    Pay It Forward

A portion of your monthly dues will directly fund someone else's 90-Day Transition — helping the next person get back on their feet.

At $750/month, members will pay far below regular housing — which often requires 3× the monthly rate as proof of income, making a place to lay your head out of reach even for working adults. Independent Membership will bridge that gap. A portion of every member's monthly dues will be used to pay it forward — funding someone else's free 90-Day Transition Program.

    Eligibility

    • Graduates of the 90-Day Transition Program
    • Employed or receiving verifiable income
    • In good standing with community covenants
    • Desire to remain in a supportive, community-centered environment

    How to Apply

Independent Membership will be offered to all 90-Day Program graduates in good standing. Once our center opens, speak with your case manager during your final week of the program to transition seamlessly.

    Program 03

    Direct Entry Program

Already employed? When our center opens, skip the line and move in.

    What's Included

    Private Pod

Immediate access to a private pod — no 90-day program required.

    Cafeteria Access

Access to a cafeteria with reduced-priced meals with no markup. Mercy Meal Plans will be available to those who qualify for meal credits.

    Healthcare Access

Connections to free or low-cost healthcare and mental health services through Abba's Care.

    Community Center Access

Full access to gyms, laundry, recreation areas, office space, and all shared amenities.

    Optional Case Management

Case management will be available but not required — employed members will set their own pace.

    Pay It Forward

A portion of your monthly dues will directly fund someone else's 90-Day Transition — helping the next person get back on their feet.

Many working adults are homeless not because of unemployment, but because landlords require income of 3× the monthly rent as a qualification — putting even modest apartments out of reach. Direct Entry will meet you where you are. A portion of every member's monthly dues will be used to pay it forward — funding someone else's free 90-Day Transition Program.

    Eligibility

    • Currently employed with verifiable income
    • Unhoused or unable to afford standard housing
    • No active violent criminal history
    • Ability to pay the $750/month membership fee
    • Individuals demonstrating extreme financial need on Social Security or Disability may receive reduced monthly dues and meal assistance on an as-needed basis.

    How to Apply

Once our center opens, contact us to schedule an intake assessment. Bring proof of income and valid ID. Availability will be based on current pod capacity.

    Program 04

    Abba's Second Chance

A clean record. A fresh start. A real future.

    What's Included

    Court Advocacy

We partner with local courts and public defenders to advocate for expungement eligibility for qualifying nonviolent offenses.

    Governor's Pardon Support

Our legal partners assist members in preparing and submitting pardon applications to state Governor's Pardon Boards.

    Record Expungement

Guidance through the expungement process — clearing records that prevent housing applications, employment, and licensing.

    Legal Aid Partnerships

Connections to pro bono attorneys and legal aid organizations specializing in criminal record relief.

    Employment Re-Entry

With a cleared record, members gain access to expanded job opportunities, professional licensing, and higher-wage careers.

    Housing Barriers Removed

Criminal records are a leading cause of housing rejections. Expungement opens doors to private rentals and homeownership.

A past mistake should not define a person's entire future. Abba's Second Chance believes in redemption — and works to make it legally real. We are actively building partnerships with courts and Governor's Pardon Boards across the country to give our members the clean slate they've earned.

    Eligibility

    • Current or former Abba's House community member
    • Nonviolent criminal record (misdemeanor or felony)
    • Completed sentence, probation, or parole
    • Demonstrated commitment to rehabilitation and positive change

    How to Apply

Once our center opens, speak with your case manager or any Abba's House staff member to begin a Second Chance assessment. We will review your record, identify eligibility, and connect you with the appropriate legal resources.
